Lexie Hamel, LICSW
Psychotherapist
About:
Do you feel overwhelmed inside while trying to keep things together on the surface? Navigating life’s challenges can feel isolating, but you don’t have to face them alone. Therapy can offer a safe and supportive environment to explore your thoughts and emotions, develop new ways of coping, deepen self understanding, and work toward healing from past experiences.
My goal as a therapist is to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment for you to grow, learn, and connect with your inner strengths. I bring compassion, authenticity, and humor into my work, along with evidence-based approaches tailored to your individual needs. Whether you are looking for strategies to manage anxiety and day-to-day challenges, navigating a transition to a new part of your life, struggling in your relationships, feeling unfulfilled, or someone who believes their life could be improved, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey. I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you and your goals!
Treatment Approach:
I practice from an individualized and strengths-based approach, incorporating interventions and themes from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused, and Narrative Therapy.
