About
Dr. Diggins is a postdoctoral associate working under supervision while pursuing independent licensure. Over the course of her training, she has provided services in community mental health, private practice, pediatric primary care, and school settings. At IBC, she offers both therapy and assessment to children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a wide range of questions and concerns.
Dr. Diggins has a warm and collaborative interpersonal style. She prioritizes creating a strong therapeutic relationship and an environment that is welcoming, affirming, and empowering. Her aim is to support clients in achieving personally meaningful goals, building on their strengths and moving toward a future that excites them.
In her spare time, Dr. Diggins enjoys going for walks, caring for her plants, and doing puzzles. She also loves baking, fantasy books, and games – and sharing these things with family and friends.
Treatment Approach
Dr. Diggins collaborates with clients to explore evidence-based treatment options that match their specific needs. She primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. Therapy with Dr. Diggins might involve playing games, doing crafts, writing, or simply talking, depending on a client’s preference. Particularly when working with young children, Dr. Diggins also partners with caregivers to promote positive interactions and increase confidence using skills within the family system.
