About
Many mental health problems arise when we develop a problematic relationship with our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In response, we often try to avoid, control, or suppress these experiences, which can unintentionally make them more distressing. My approach to therapy focuses on helping you develop the ability to accept discomfort without self-judgment and reduce pattens of avoidance so that you can pursue goals that are aligned with your values. I also strive to provide culturally responsive therapy by collaboratively exploring and understanding the ways in which your intersecting identities and your environment influence your perception of yourself and your behaviors.

I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma, including Veterans, service members, and their families. I have also worked with individuals who are experiencing worsening mental health symptoms that may be correlated with certain medical conditions, such as chronic pain.

Originally from New York, I have called the Greater Boston area home for the past seven years and look forward to continuing to support the mental health needs of the surrounding communities. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy exploring the Massachusetts food scene, traveling, and chasing after my dog Rosie, who has likely stolen one of my socks.
