My goal has always been to understand why a child acts the way they do, while helping parents create a map for how to best help their child. Beyond a diagnosis, my evaluations aim to clarify strengths and challenges that explain recurrent patterns of behavior. I received my BA from California State University, Chico and my doctorate from the University of Hartford, Connecticut, emphasizing clinical psychology with children/adolescents.
Treatment Approach
Neuropsychological/Psychological testing, with an emphasis on autism and neurodiversity. Therapeutic experience in Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), attachment/relational focus, collaborative problem-solving, and structural family therapy.
