Kim McCoy, LICSW

Psychotherapist

Relationships and core emotional needs are the foundation of our well-being. I have had the privilege over the last 30 years of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families whose lives and functioning are impacted by complex trauma related to childhood abuse/neglect, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health inclusive of PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I am a graduate of Fitchburg State University where I received a B.S in Human Services, as well as a graduate of Salem State University’s Master in Social Work program. In addition, I have received a Clinical Certificate in Relational and Multi-Contextual Treatment of Trauma from Simmons School of Social Work and have been a License Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for over 20 years.

If you are struggling with issues related to past wounds, increasing relational pressures, or a recent major life challenge, I offer treatment that addresses past trauma, emotional trauma, and current life transitions. Through taking a trauma focused approach, I work to build relationships and trust with clients to assist them in identifying their personal goals so that we can work collaboratively with one another towards positive outcomes.
