Roxanne R. Cirelli, LMHC

Ms. Roxanne Cirelli has a 48-year career in human services. She has worked at different settings and with diverse populations. Settings include colleges, clinics, hospitals, outreach, elementary and high schools, and private practice. Roxanne has worked with various populations including those with physical and psychiatric disabilities, substance use disorders, women’s issues, step parenting, blended families, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, loss, and anxiety. Applied approaches have included rehabilitation, coordination of medication management, self-advocacy, cognitive behavioral, reality, person centered, work reentry, self-empowerment, self-reliance, faculty and staff development, staff training, and regional and national conference presentations.

Roxanne has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 1992. She earned her Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at Boston University, School of Allied Health. Her Bachelor of Science degree is in Psychology with minors in pre-physical therapy, Women’s Studies, Gerontology, and Photojournalism all earned at University of Utah.

Roxanne takes a special interest in working with parents and siblings managing a family member with a disability or an addiction. Also, empowering a person after a loss, life challenge, or change; a key to adjusting and achieving a satisfactory life
