Frequently Asked Questions

From time to time, everyone needs help. Perhaps you have a problem that feels overwhelming and is making it difficult to access your past strengths. In our work together, we will help you
identify your strengths, and how to implement them in new ways.

Medication alone cannot solve all issues. Medication does treat some symptoms. Our work together is designed to explore the root of the issue, dig deep into your behavior, and teach strategies that can help you accomplish your personal and/or relational goals. Medication is often
most effective in conjunction with therapy.

Because each person has different issues and goals, therapy will be different depending on the
individual. We will create a treatment plan based on your unique needs.

Everyone’s circumstances are unique. The length of time in therapy will depend on your goals and depend on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek therapy in the first place.

Your active participation and dedication is crucial to your success. The work you do outside of your sessions will be helpful in reinforcing the new skills and strategies you will be learning.

This is a question that will be addressed during the intake process. After you go through the intake process, we can then determine if group counseling, individual counseling, or a combination of both would be the best fit for you at that time.

Each session will be scheduled for 60 minutes.

If you have insurance, our billing team will contact your insurance company to find out what they will cover for your therapy sessions. We will inform you of your potential financial obligations.
